Commercial Finance Fees
Commercial Finance – The fees for Commercial Finance can be broken down into two areas; the Broker Fee and the Lender/Professional Fee.
Broker Fees
Procuration Fee -
A fee paid by the Lender to the Broker; typically a percentage of the lender’s acceptance fee.
Lender Fees
Acceptance Fee -
The typical lender will charge a 1% acceptance fee for an average £400,000 long-term commercial loan. The fee is payable on signed acceptance of the written mortgage offer.
Interest Rate -
The interest rate offered at any given time will be determined by the lender; it is typically a set percentage rate above The London Inter Bank Offered Rate (LIBOR), depending on the risk proposition of the funds required.
